Clean Me Up - Song Story |
| This song was inspired by a comment Ken Blanchard made in
his "Lead Like Jesus III" Seminar. He said (something like)
"Our prayer has to be Lord clean me up of me, and fill me up with
You!" This odd phrasing stuck with me for days after... until this
song was birthed. We used this song for the first time at BVCC as a
response song to a sermon on sexual purity. It remains one of my most
intimate and emotional songs.
